"Jetsy" aka Elizabeth (Betsy) W. Parker

I design fabrics. 

I am a photographer, graphic designer and an artist, so my designs come from photos, Photoshop work, and original drawings and paintings.

I learned to sew as a middle school girl.  I developed a love for fabrics - both texture and colors that has stayed with me my entire life.  I studied Art History as an undergraduate and began batiking fabric after graduating from college.  Though mostly focusing on art, I started designing fabrics for products I sold on a website dedicated to the art and culture of Puerto Rico. Gradually, I started adding designs that were inspired by nature, notably pattens I discovered with my photography.

My particular passion is table settings, so I focus on place mats, napkins, runners, coasters and other items used in entertaining.

 I also like to make clothing and accessories, pillows, tote bags, kerchiefs and items for babies, specifically stuffed animals and blankets.
